Scientist and translational biotechnologist with ~18 years of experience in biomanufacturing, precision biotherapeutics, transgenics, gene editing, and functional genomics. Currently serving as Scientist-E at BRIC-National Institute of Animal Biotechnology, working at the intersection of Biomanufacturing, Precision Biotherapeutics, Molecular bioengineering, Cellular engineering, Transgenics, and Reproductive biotechnology.
My research focuses on developing next-generation biological production systems using engineered mammary epithelial cells, transgenic platforms, exosome engineering, and advanced gene delivery technologies. I have contributed to multiple patented technologies, including engineered signal peptides, mammalian transfection systems, recombinant bovine FSH production, and exosome-based therapeutic protein loading platforms.
Over the years, I have worked extensively on:
• Biotherapeutic production platforms.
• Mammary gland biofactories and transgenic animal technologies.
• CRISPR and functional genomics approaches.
• Exosome engineering.
• Germ cell engineering and reproductive biotechnology.
• Translational molecular biotechnology for biomedical applications.
I have authored/co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, patents, book chapters, and scientific presentations in the fields of animal biotechnology, transgenesis, and molecular therapeutics.
Passionate about translating cutting-edge biological research into scalable technologies with applications in healthcare, livestock biotechnology, and future biomanufacturing ecosystems.
My research focuses on cell line generation for enhanced production of biotherapeutics and engineered exosomes for oral delivery of biotherapeutics.
